We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
We offer a tiered Manufacturer's Limited Warranty on items purchased directly through our website:
- 5-Year Limited Warranty: Applies strictly to the primary chassis, core structural materials, and internal craftsmanship of designated premium D.N.A. Outdoor™ Multi-tools. This covers manufacturing defects under standard operational use.
- 1-Year Limited Warranty: Applies to all standalone multi-tool accessories such as: tool sheaths, and auxiliary gear, etc., except consumables, such as, but not limited to: replacement wire-cutters, driver bits, sharpeners/ files, ferrocerium rods, etc.
Warranty Exclusions: Neither warranty covers damage resulting from standard wear and tear, cosmetic scratching, rust, corrosion, accidents, clear misuse, or aggressive over-torquing.

To file a claim under your 5-Year or 1-Year Limited Warranty, you must contact our support team at support@dakoyu.com. To be evaluated, your claim submission must explicitly include:
- Your original order number or verifiable proof of purchase.
- Clear, high-resolution photographic or video evidence demonstrating the specific material or craftsmanship defect.
- A brief description of how the operational failure occurred.
We reserve the right to request that the tool be shipped back to our facility for physical inspection before a replacement or repair is authorized.
Section 6 - Returns, Maintenance, and "DIY" Modifications
Our policy supports the open and modular nature of everyday carry gear, but balances this with strict safety limitations:
- Permitted DIY Upgrades: We support standard user maintenance and official part customization (such as swapping designated modular blades, clips, or accessories purchased directly from us). Performing basic, intended part replacements will not automatically void your warranty.
- Prohibited or Excessive Modifications: Any modification that requires structural grinding, structural drilling, heating, permanent welding, altering safety locks, or forcing unapproved third-party components into the tool is strictly prohibited. Any damage, operational failure, or structural warping caused by excessive or improper DIY modifications completely voids both your 1-Year and 5-Year warranties.
- Return Condition: To be eligible for standard refunds or returns, the product must be reassembled into its original factory configuration or its original configuration using authorized D.N.A. Outdoor™ parts. We cannot accept loose, partially disassembled, or permanently altered tools for return.
Section 7 - International Shipping, Customs, and Regulations
We ship internationally to various global jurisdictions. When buying products from D.N.A. Outdoor™, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Import Duties & Taxes: All international shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes levied by your country of destination. You are solely responsible for paying any additional charges for customs clearance.
- Customs Seizures: Different geographic locations have strict and varying legal classifications for pocket knives, multi-tools, locking blades, and assisted opening mechanisms. We are not responsible for packages confiscated, destroyed, or delayed by customs authorities due to domestic restrictions in your country. No refunds will be issued for items seized by foreign customs.
Section 8 - Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.
Section 9 - Third-Party Links
Certain content, products, and services available via our Service may include materials from third parties. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites.
Section 10 - User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us.
Section 11 - Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Product Safety and Injury Liability Disclaimer:
Multi-tools contain inherently sharp, mechanical, and dangerous components, including straight blades, serrated saws, wire cutters, files, and tension-loaded mechanisms. D.N.A. Outdoor™ tools must be handled with extreme care and used exclusively for their intended everyday carry or survival tasks.
Under no circumstances shall D.N.A. Outdoor™, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, or suppliers be held liable for any physical injury, bodily harm, laceration, dismemberment, or accidental death resulting from the use, misuse, storage, transport, or assembly of our products. This total exclusion of liability for personal injury applies unconditionally to all standard operations, and it applies with absolute strictness to any tool that has undergone consumer DIY maintenance, custom part-swapping, tuning, or modification.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Section 15 - Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless D.N.A. Outdoor™ and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
Section 16 - Severability
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
Section 17 - Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us.
Section 18 - Entire Agreement
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us.
Section 19 - Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the main jurisdiction where our parent corporate entity is legally registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal dispute, claim, or litigation arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the purchase and use of D.N.A. Outdoor™ items, shall be settled exclusively within the competent domestic courts of our primary business registration location, to the strict exclusion of foreign legal venues, unless explicitly mandated by consumer protection statutes in your home country.
Section 20 - Changes to Terms of Service
