Warranty Period: 

Dakoyu North America Inc. warrants that its tools and multitools are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years, and accessories (e.g., sheaths, cases, or add-ons) for 1 year, from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to products distributed by Dakoyu North America Inc. and its authorized dealers. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. 

What is Covered: 

Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Eligible items may be repaired, replaced, issued credit, or refunded at Dakoyu North America Inc.’s sole discretion. 

What is Not Covered: 

Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, discoloration, rust, and other cosmetic damage. Consumable parts (e.g., driver bits, cutting edges). Deformation of material from regular use (e.g., plier head claws, prying surfaces). Damage resulting from improper use, disassembly, modifications, or failure to properly maintain the product (e.g., lubricating moving parts, tightening screws). Abuse, neglect, theft, or loss. Products purchased for commercial, industrial, or resale purposes. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or without valid proof of purchase. 

Warranty Claims Process: 

Contact support@dakoyu.com with: 

• Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice from an authorized dealer)
• Product serial number (if available)
• Description of the defect and photos/ video

If required, ship the product using an insured, trackable method. Dakoyu North America Inc. is not responsible for products lost or damaged during shipment. Retain tracking details until receipt is confirmed. Dakoyu North America Inc. will repair, replace, issue store credit, or refund at its sole discretion. Repaired/replaced items inherit the remaining term of the original warranty. 

User Responsibilities: 

By using the product, the user agrees to assume all risks associated with this product and accepts full responsibility for injuries, damages, or fatalities arising from its use or misuse. Operate the product only as intended and adhere to all safety precautions, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and goggles. Never alter, disassemble, or misuse the product. Unauthorized changes may void warranties and increase safety risks. 

Dakoyu North America Inc. Disclaims Liability For: 

Injuries, fatalities, or damages caused by the use, misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety protocols. Incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, downtime). Claims related to unauthorized repairs, modifications, or commercial/resale use. 

Final Interpretation & Jurisdictional Rights: 

Dakoyu North America Inc. reserves the right to make final determinations and/or interpretations on warranty eligibility/coverage and liability disclaimer/agreement. The details of this warranty and liability agreement may change without further notice. This warranty and liability agreement does not affect your statutory rights. Jurisdictional laws may override certain limitations or exclusions.
